The Law 101 office is open by appointment only. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, walk-ins are no longer accepted. All visitors must use the main entrance of the building (by appointment only).
If you live outside of EMSB territory (i.e.: North Shore, South Shore, West Island, Lasalle, Verdun, Lachine, Châteauguay), you must contact the School Board of your territory to apply for a Certificate of English Eligibility. The EMSB cannot apply for your child’s eligibility.
If you live inside EMSB territory, we ask that you kindly click on the link below to book your appointment with our Law 101 office to apply for a Certificate of English Eligibility for your child.

Can my child attend school before they are of age?
